Project: 365 Posters
Context: Personal challenge during COVID-19 pandemic
From December 16th, 2019, and for an entire year, I dedicated myself to designing and publishing posters on Instagram daily. «365» is a compilation of all the posters created during that year.
With relatively few constraints, each day presented an opportunity to select concepts and visualize them in poster format. The underlying idea behind these posters didn't always need to be intricate; at times, simple words or feelings were enough to start designing. Nonetheless, there was a daily struggle to conceive interesting motifs or visual expressions. Also, while the initial weeks passed swiftly, maintaining momentum became progressively challenging as the year unfolded, especially balancing this personal challenge alongside studies and work. Eventually, I had an idea of how long it would take me to design a poster and a sort of ritual took form. At this point, the process became as natural as cooking, sports, or any other hobby.
